Books and Audiobooks are available for two week checkouts, with two renewals.

DVDs are available for one week checkouts, with two renewals.

New Items do not have renewals available.

Checkout periods and renewals may vary.  

Additional items are available through the Missouri Evergreen system.  Holds may be placed on these items through the catalog, or by contacting the library.

MOLib2Go is our elibrary, and is complementary with your library card.  MOLib2Go offers ebooks, audiobooks, and movies to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.  To access your MOLib2Go account, visit the website, or download the Overdrive or Libby app from your app provider.  If you have issues accessing your account or using MOLib2Go, please contact the library.


Internet & Computers

 14 Computers are available for use in the library.  Computer use is free.  Please check in at the front desk to use the computers.  Our computers have the Microsoft Office Suite available.

Wifi is free to use in the library.  Wifi access is available for one hour or eight hours.  Check in at the front desk to get a login passkey.


Printing and Copies

 Black and White Prints and Copies cost 10 cents per sheet.  Two sided black and white copies cost 20 cents per sheet.  The black and white copier is located at the front desk, or in the library foyer.

Color Prints and Copies cost 50 cents per sheet.  Two sided color copies cost one dollar per sheet.  The color copier is located at the front desk.

Faxing costs one dollar per sheet.  The fax machine is located at the front desk.


Genealogy and Reference

 Microfilm Records are available for the following:

  • Newspapers:  Ste. Genevieve Fair Play (1872-1976), Ste. Genevieve Herald (1882-2014), Ste. Genevieve Democrat (1916), St. Mary’s Weekly Review (1935-1978), Ste. Genevieve Weekly Review (1979-1980), and Ste. Genevieve “The Review” (1981).
  • Miscellaneous County and District Records:  records include deeds, marriage licenses, tax records, court records, etc.  Records available from 1756 – 1978.

Please note that the microfilm records are not complete.  Check with a librarian to confirm availability of records.

HeritageQuest and AncestryLibrary are available for use at the library.  Sites are only accessible from library computers.  Visit our databases page to know more.

Family History books from Project Pioneer are available for many local families.  Project Pioneer books may be used in the library.

The Meeting Room is available for reservation by non-profit organizations.  Reservations cannot be made for times outside the library’s operating hours.  Meeting rooms have two white boards for usage.  Projector available on request.  Contact us or visit the front desk to make a reservation.


Disc Cleaning is available for purchase at the front desk.  This service costs $2 per disc.
