Our Bloomsdale Extension
Want to use the Ste. Genevieve County Library, but want to shorten the drive? We have a locker for facilitating holds in front of Mary’s Market in Bloomsdale! We wanted to make the library more accessible for everybody, and as long as you have a library card you can use the locker too! If you’re wondering how it works, it basically functions like a Redbox in a sense.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can utilize the Bloomsdale Locker?
Everybody is welcome to use it! The only requirement being that you have a library card with us.
What can and can’t be picked up in the locker?
Anything that can fit in the lockers can be picked up from the lockers. At this time items like our Library of Things or Telescopes need to be picked up from our main branch.
How do I use the locker?
It’s pretty simple! Once you’ve placed a hold and the item has been sent to the locker, all you need to do is scan your library card at the machine, enter your PIN (which is typically the last 4 digits of your phone number on file), and confirm and the locker with your items will open for you!
I need special accommodations due to my height or a disability, is there any way I can get one of the lower lockers?
Absolutely! We try our best to leave some of the lower lockers available for those who need these accommodations, if you’d like this, please reach out with the contact form below and we’ll get back to you!
I checked my book out at the main Ste. Genevieve branch, can I still return my item in the locker?
Absolutely! And the reverse is true as well; if you got the item from the locker, you can also check it back in at the library as well.
How often is the locker stocked?
It is stocked every Tuesday.
