Below, you’ll find three charts comparing our numbers from 2017 (the year the IGA was signed) to 2024. The results speak for themselves:

📈 **Foot traffic has increased by 10,000 visitors!**
📚 **Physical checkouts have grown by nearly the same amount!**
💻 **Electronic circulations skyrocketed from 3,100 to over 12,000!**

Last Day to make a Valentine's Mailbox for your class party!
*while supplies last!

Ste. Genevieve County Library is excited to bring back the design-your-own Valentine's Box. Craft supplies and boxes will be provided for students wishing to design a Valentine's Box for their classroom party. Supplies are limited, so don't wait.
Supplies will be available from February 1st-13th.
This craft is available to all students attending pre-k through 5th grade.

Ste Genevieve County Library

Introducing our newest program, Tummy Time! This program will begin Tuesday, February 18th at 9:30 am.

This will be a more relaxed, drop-in program designed to socialize the littles who aren't quite ready for our normal Tuesday storytime. We will have sensory toys, read a board book, and more! This program will take place in our meeting room and will begin at 9:30 am.

It makes me so happy to see all the fun activities going on at the library ☺️ you all are doing fantastic work!

Nice work!

Programs like this are so important to our community. Our library is a needed resource for our community. Before April 8th stop in and see what’s going on in our library. We would hate to have to scale back programs and have less staff to help our fellow citizens and visitors who choose to use our library for genealogy research, climb a tree, family game night, read the paper, google it or to just sit in a huge bean bag and READ A BOOK. If you don’t you’re missing out!
